Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Move Arcade (https://movearcade.app) is a collection of free browser games you play with your body, using your webcam. This policy explains what happens to your camera image and what little data the site keeps. The short version: your camera stays on your device, we run no ads, no analytics and no accounts, and we collect no personal information.

Your camera

The camera image is processed entirely on your own device, inside your browser, using on-device machine learning (Google MediaPipe). It is never recorded, never stored and never sent to any server. When you close the tab or leave a game, the camera is released.

Each game asks for camera permission through your browser. You can refuse or revoke it at any time in your browser settings; most games offer a keyboard or mouse fallback so you can still try them without a camera.

Photos you create

Some games (for example Face Match) can take snapshot photos as part of play. These photos are created and shown entirely on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere and disappear when you leave the page, unless you choose to download one to your own computer.

What we store on your device

The site uses your browser's local storage to remember small things between visits:

  • your best scores and stars in each game,
  • your colour theme preference (light or dark),
  • the nickname you type for multiplayer races.

This data never leaves your device and is not linked to you as a person. Clearing your browser's site data removes it completely. We do not use tracking cookies.

Online multiplayer

A few games offer optional online rooms (for example racing a friend in Pose Runner or Clap Bird). When you join a room, the following is transmitted to our game server (hosted on Cloudflare) so the match can work: the nickname you typed, the room code, and gameplay signals such as your position in the race. This data is ephemeral: it exists only while the room is open and is not stored afterwards. Please do not use your real name as a nickname.

Third-party services

The first time you start a game, your browser downloads the motion-tracking engine and model files from content delivery networks (jsDelivr, Google Cloud Storage, and our own asset host). Like any web request, those services receive standard connection data such as your IP address, governed by their own privacy policies. They do not receive your camera image or any gameplay data.

Children's privacy

Move Arcade is designed to be family-friendly, and several games are made for young children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no chat, no ads and no data profiles. The camera processing described above applies equally to children: nothing is recorded or transmitted. We still recommend that an adult sets up the game and supervises play.

Your choices

  • Revoke camera access at any time via the camera icon in your browser's address bar.
  • Clear saved scores and preferences by clearing this site's data in your browser.
  • Skip multiplayer entirely; every game works solo.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change how data is handled, we will update this page and the date at the top before those features go live.
